Okay, a few things first.

Most noticeable may be that I stole Carlos' idea and I'm now using symbols instead of letters to represent our characters.

Secondly, this is a surprise round. This means that you get 1 (one) action before rolling for initiative. This can be any action; standard, move or minor.

You can place yourself anywhere ON or BEHIND the yellow dots. Do not place yourself in the room as your starting point.

To save time, roll for initiative in the same post as your action. If you move then make sure to state your starting square and your end square as well.

Lastly, let's do some roleplaying here. I don't want just a post with a few numbers. I know you guys are pretty good about this so really I'm just repeating it for repetition's sake. Razz

Fang will start in M-24, as his surprise action, he will shift to L-23.

Fang readies his scythe, moving in towards a foe in an effort to get the drop on him/her. Even if he doesn't, at least it should distract them from his comrades while they form a better plan of action than "run in and hit stuff". ... Which is what Fang does best.

Tiagarth, in his sleek black panther form starts out in O24 when the doors open.

"I feel like it's going to be one of those days"

Tiagarth uses his wild shape power to turn back into his elf form and as part of that power he is going to shift to O25

Attacking with Dishearten

At-Will Augmentable, Implement, Psionic, Psychic
Standard Action Area burst 1 within 10 squares
Target: Each creature in the burst
Attack: Intelligence vs. Will
Hit: 1d6 + Intelligence modifier psychic damage, and the target takes a –2 penalty to attack rolls until the end of your next turn.

Targeting square N-19 to hit Z3, Z4, and Z5.


First set of rolls will be for this attack, in order of Z3, Z4, and Z5. Second roll set will be initiative.

Attack Bonus: +7

Initiative bonus: +1

Mambele takes his place before his allies, choosing to stay closer to Miss Tulka, which for some reason is easy to believe is zombie-proof. He doesn't really know much about zombies, but they're not exactly known for being vegetarians.

He realizes he is allowing himself to be unnerved. He needs to keep moving to be an efficient warlock! "Fang, if you notice that I get a zombie bite, I want you to promise me that you'll be the one to kill me."

After a dramatic pause, he adds with a smile. "That way, I'll come back as a zombie AND a werelion, which will be awesome."

And with that, he disappears with a flash of... actually, with an anti-flash of darkness, and reappears before a throng of enemies!

BAMF!

Ethereal Stride to P-21: Move, Encounter. Can teleport three squares and gains +2 to all defenses until end of next turn.

Menzo charges forward, a roar on his lips! Leaping over a crumbling zombie, it's mind destroyed by Tulka's attack, he bashes his shield into the next foe!

"Fang! With me!" He cries!

Starting in N-24 and charging to N-20. Melee basic attack vs Z4, +11 vs AC (+10 base and +1 for charging){First Roll}

Mambele easily avoids the swipe of the sword, though that's more due to the skeleton's failings than his own merit. "Hey! Don't get rust stains on my cloak, Mossy!"
