Fang's jaw drops in awe at the spectacle. "... remind me never to upset her..."

Tulka comes over with the pouch. "Will this take us to the born of dragons people?"

Menzo is speechless. "I, uh, umm, it will help."

Ricker laughs heartily. "I never should have doubted a kemen'ered!" He slaps Menzo on the back. "Cheer up, son! She got the gold, she didn't cheat and you made an ass out of yourself for not believing her!" There is a call for the wrestling competition. "Oh! There we go! Now let's get you boys ready!"

You head over to a makeshift ring on the other side of the park. As you go you can hear people talking about the amazing flying boulder.

"Come one, come all! We're holding the famoush wrestling matsh now!" The announcer is a halfling standing on a stool and well into his cups by the look of him. "You shir! Sirsh! Sir! Show us yer a man and wreshle a bull to the ground!" He points his cane at Tulka.

Menzo steps forward. "Ahem. Fang and I will join." He pushes the cane out of his face.

The halfling stares blearily at the genasi. "Yer on fire." He said simply.

Menzo sighed. "Can I join or not."

The halfling looks him up and down. "Yer head'sh on fire."

Menzo grabbed the cane and held it to his flaming head. "It doesn't burn, see?"

"Oh." He looks at the tip of the cane and loses his balance, falling on his face on the ground. You hear a mumbled "Go on in!" Before he starts to snore.

"Well, Fang? Shall we?"

Mambele takes a seat next to Tulka as he prepares to watch the wrestling event. "You're a blessing, my lady. A blessing to us and to the world, should we succeed in saving it. Your mother should be proud." he offers. He considers offering the wilden an encouraging hug, but hesitates at the last minute. She's so sweet and innocent, even this inoffensive friendly gesture seems like taking advantage of her. He simply offers his best smile instead, and whistles to his friends encouragingly. Funny, he feels oddly at ease after his fiasco at the contest. Or at least he thinks he does. He shakes his head and tries to focus on Fang and Menzo.

In the middle of the ring is the true announcer. Another halfling but this one was sober and built like a tiny minotaur.

"I need wrestlers! Who will be joining the competetion?" He cries out.

As the two of you approach he scoffs at the genasi.

"Bend down." He shoves his hand into the flame and nods that he isn't burnt. "Just making sure. Okay, you're good."

You wait around for a little while longer as a few others join in. A couple of humans, another buff halfling, one minotaur, and the surprise of the evening, a tiefling. There was some muttering as he stepped in to the ring but he shook hands with the minotaur and they quietly talked as everyone waited. The last contender to show up is the elf woman that Fang met yesterday. She looks at the shifter and hesitates but doesn't back down.

"Anyone else?" No one steps forward. "Alright, I can work with eight of you." He produces a basket and pulls out a few slips of paper and wads them up. "Okay, everyone draw a number."

The elven woman draws the first number.

The minotaur draws the second.

The halfling the third.

The bald human the fourth.

The tiefling the fifth.

And the human with a ponytail the sixth.

Fang and Menzo are last to draw their numbers.

Menzo reaches in to pull out a number.

Okay, Fang. Just roll a d8. If you also get a 7 then you can reroll and I'll delete the first.

"Okay, numbers one and eight. Over here." He points to the right. "Two and seven next to them. Three and six next to them. And four and five next to them."

Fang heads over to stand next to the elven woman. Menzo is paired with bald human. The minotaur is with the tiefling. And the halfling stands next to the other human.

"We'll do one and eight first. Get in the ring!" You two stand in the ring facing each other. "Rules are that no weapons, magic or mental powers are to be used. Just hand to hand grapples. If your opponent is knocked unconscious then you win. If your opponent dies then you will be held responsible and arrested. Let's keep it clean. Go!"

The woman rushes toward you but hesitates at the last minute.

Fang sees an opportunity in her hesitation. Effortlessly, he vaults over her, landing behind the elven woman, and proceeding to wrap his arms around her body in an attempt to grab her.
